This year, we’re bringing Word to Action across the pond: from Liechtenstein to Beaver! It’ll be an intense 4 days of rejuvenation for 6-10 creators. We inspire each other to write beautiful stories, poems, songs, essays. See the posts from Word to Action 25, 23, and 20 for a little taste of what goes on.

Reach out on Instagram or at wordtoaction2020 [at] gmail for more information.

Let Word to Action ’26 be your refuge from the pestering voices of social media, work, in-laws, whomever.

Let me be your librarian, check your devices with me at the entry door and see me when you need to check it out to look something up or check in with a loved one. I’ll be there to do research for you or return calls to your parents-in-law who are watching your pets.

Bring a bag of ingredients for early grazing, serious lunching, and light-suppering.

Bring a variety of carbon-friendly colorful foods, and your own protein-foods.

Bring ingredients that last from 1-4 days, we’ll time the use.

We’ll make teams to make our meals with what we have, accomodating all.

Find a good poem to start the day and share it with Beaver cobblestone bread and homemade jelly from Liechtenstein.

Find a voice to read to the rest, to inspire.

Find a couplet for your day’s mantra.

Help around the house with dishes, dusting and other meditative tasks.

Help  keep the place as we found it.

Help keep each other focused on our writing work.

After morning meditation, we share a prompt over breakfast.

After a few hours of writing and/or being inspired by a nature walk or sit, we workshop.

After workshop and lunch, we write, walk and sit some more before a light dinner.

After dinner and digestion, we gather under the stars to share our work old or new, something we read or heard, in any format (lyric, prose, song).
