Our desks are spaced and all reading & writing spaces are flooded with natural light and fresh air. We can do Word to Action safely. To make things easier, we will limit our in-house guests and allow students to participate via video conference. Here’s how: students will link to the workshop every day at a convenient time, receive writing prompts and review work with the participating poets. In addition, students will receive invitations to the video calls with the Featured poets: Will McInerney, Craig Santos Perez, Kelli Agodon, Richard Blanco, Enda Wyley, and Tess Barry. This way, students need only make their way to the retreat site on Saturday (for the final wood-fired pizza dinner) and/or the performance at 11:30 on Sunday the 18th of October.
